Liah Caspi is an Israeli-born American figurative artist, based in Northern New Jersey, USA.

Through her recent paintings, she communicates personal truths and reveals glimpses of her journey and life experience through visual metaphors. Her subjects are women, an image she sees as a semi-reflective surface. The surrounding items and toys in her paintings are powerful representations of metaphoric introspective moments and life experiences.

Growing up in Israel, Caspi was surrounded by the complexities of WWII and a melting pot of cultures, as well as the challenges of depression and divorce in her own family. Painting became an outlet for expression that was difficult to convey through other means.

Caspi's paintings were shown at:

When she's not painting, Caspi is a toy designer/inventor and has received a Toy of The Year (TOTY) nomination for her work. She studied Illustration at the Art Institute of Boston and later attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she majored in Interior Design and found a passion in the Toy Design department. Many of her toys offer girls a creative outlet, providing a positive environment aimed at inspiration that entertains children.
